Greetings!  Counseling is not just a job for me, but my passion, calling, and life’s work. I believe that all things are possible with God and no one is beyond hope, grace, mercy and life-restoring healing.

I have been married for 14 years to my lovely wife Christine and have three incredible children. I have worked in the helping professions in a variety of contexts for the better part of 20 years.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Cloud State University with a bachelor’s degree, majoring in Community Psychology and with an emphasis in Chemical Dependency Counseling. I received a master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2009 and I am currently a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in NY state.

Julie Everhart

Hi there! My name is Julie Everhart. Counseling is a life-long dream for me, and I am so excited to be part of the team at Journey of Hope. I am humbled and blessed to be a part of what God is doing.

I was born and raised in a Godly, Christian home, accepted the Lord as my Savior as a young child, but completely dedicated my life to Him when I was 16. I graduated from Clarks Summit University with my Bachelor’s in counseling in 2000. Many things have happened in my life since then, and I have learned what it means to live in the power of grace and fall in love with Jesus in a way I never knew before. I have my Master’s in Counseling and am currently pursuing my Licensure in New York State. I have two amazing sons who are the joy of my life.  I am now the Administrator of an Adult Care Facility. Every day I work with residents and their loved ones to assist them in many areas of life.
